UseMod is one oldest and most-Inge-most Wiki Softwares.

It is written in Perl and it exists a quantity of Patches, in order to make various auxiliary functions possible. UseMod Wikis use usually CamelCase on the left of, that are however not compelling. Above all the syntax of the UseMod and its Patches and clones had large influence on the development of other Wikis. So for example MediaWiki is syntactically strongly ajar against the UseMod.

The most well-known Wiki operated with UseMod is the MeatballWiki, which affected the development of the UseMod software strongly.
