Pixelquelle.de is a graphic data bank for license-free photos, which follow the open SOURCE thought.

At present (16 April 2006) it covers 64229 pictures in 111 categories.

The using must register themselves first and announce in each case before the down and/or high shop of photos. The search in the gradated categories can take place anonymous.

The use of the pictures is free, however must be referred to source of pixel. The pictures loaded highly on the server are de-energised by administrators, if the quality corresponds approx. 2 million pixel (at least 1000 pixels side length).

On source of pixel meanwhile an active Community of active FotografInnen developed, who evaluate and them discuss the photos.
