Sharelook is an offerer of Internet portals and Web listings. The name Sharelook derived from the English word share for parts and look for view, thus divided view. Sharelook was created 1995 by Michael Vlatten, Joachim Baxmann and Andre Buchloh in Dortmund. It ranks among the pioneers under the German-language Web listings.

Sharelook developed in the course of the time to a comprehensive Internet portal. All entries are editorialally worked on. The offer of many auxiliary offers, regional catalogs is supplemented like e.g. Sharelook Berlin or however the special catalogs like e.g. Sharelook film

Sharelook developed rapidly to a European-wide acting enterprise. The enterprise finances itself from advertisement on its sides and co-operates here e.g. with info. space and Google. Further sources of income are content licencing on third and fees for the admission into the Web listings.
