The term Semantic Grid refers to a beginning of the Grid Computing after which information, resources and services in machine-readable form is described. This is to make it more simply for resources in the Grid to find and add automatically, what helps with the establishment of virtual organizations. The semantic descriptions represent Metainformationen and become usually with the technologies of the Semantic Web, how e.g. RDF realizes.
