Provider (dt. [], English []; of lat. providere - foresee, supply) designation in German a supplier or a servicer.

In telecommunications with Provider an offerer is designated by telecommunication services. It can concern both around simple and services with high order. If the Provider possesses its own communications network, he is called network carrier.
