Mozilla Europe is an Non profit organization, which strives for the spreading and use of Mozilla products in Europe.

The organization was created on 17 February 2004. It is independent of the Mozilla Foundation, but to these attached. The head office of Mozilla Europe is in Paris.

The Mozilla project set itself as a goal of maintaining Internet as place of the innovation and the open exchange. In order to reach this, the price-crowned Mozilla Browser and E-Mail program complex as well as further products and technologies (e.g. Bugzilla) is developed and made available.

Mozilla Europe supports the Mozilla project by development, distribution and public work both for the free Mozilla application package and for sister products and used projects within Europe.

The tasks of Mozilla Europe are completely in a statute described.

The organization financed by donations is led by its executive committee, which consists Olivier Meunier (treasurer) of Tristan Nitot (president), Pascal Chevrel (Secretary-General), Peter Van of the Beken, Zbigniew Braniecki and Axel Hecht.
