MetaGer is a German Metasuchmaschine in the Internet, which is operated of the University of Hanover. Search words are looked for in several, by the user to selecting search machines and the result is prepared presented at the same time.

Also the Wikipedia is queried by MetaGer: with the search word agreeing entries are in the first place indicated. Additionally also the full text of the Wikipedia is scanned.

The Metasuchmaschine is attached a "“Assoziator"”, which looks for used terms to a search word contentwise, with which one if necessary further-search can.

The free search service meta RH search is a co-operation partner of MetaGer.

Since in the middle of 2005 the follow-up version of MetaGer is available under the name Metager2.
