Lucire is a fashion journal, which is represented since 1997 in the Internet.
It is published from New Zealand, which led 2004 also to a monthly expenditure for print. It is one of the few offerers of this section, who became then also active beginning within the print range in the Internet. Simone Knol draws up the expenditure for net, Nicola Brockie the printed expenditure. A part of proceeds is used for charitable purposes, among other things for Tsunami victims.
When one decided for the name "Lucire ", thereby no deeper meaning was intended; the editorship experienced only later the fact that it concerns an old Romanian designation with the meaning "glitzern "and gives it also a similar word in the Spanish ("out-does ").
Since May 2005 exists a Romanian expenditure for print, which is cared for by Mirella and Valentin Lapusca. Also expenditures for other countries are planned.
