KidWeb is a German-language Internet side, which belongs to the Kid publishing house. Visitors of the sides find discussions of new publications within the range of child and youth literature, stories of young authors and a collection from left.

A component of KidWeb is the child news service (Kid) with messages, which concern children and young people.

The child news service resulted 1991 from the argument around the ratification of the UN children's rights organization from the Federal Republic of Germany out. After only the ratification of the convention under reservations the child news service pursued its conversion to Germany critically.

Journalistic one supports the editorship initiatives to provide for children and young people the right to vote. In addition it uses itself for the modernization of the German educational system by the mechanism of a common school.
