Fullqualified URLs is uniform resource Locator addresses (URL), which contain all following elements:

  • the transmission protocol (the pattern in such a way specified): http:// or ftp:// or NNTP: /etc.
  • a server name, which consists at least of the first and second level (e.g. wikipedia.org) and all necessary additional levels (here thus de.wikipedia.org). The indication of number of the URL is likewise valid.
  • if necessary, the indication of path for the desired object (document, file or program). (/wiki/Wikipedia: FAQ_f%FCr_den_Leser)

Thus fully qualified URL looks e.g. in such a way:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:FAQ_f%FCr_den_Leser

(Reference: Which not in the ASCII character set is contained of umlauts, and/or everything, must are converted.)
