FrostWire is an open SOURCE Peer ton Peer (P2P) Filesharing Client. It uses the Gnutella network and resulted in September 2005 from a Fork of the LimeWire Clients.

Prehistory

Like many manufacturers of P2P-Software turned out also Lime Wire LCC, the trademark law owner of LimeWire, into legal arguments with the RIAA and was in a forced manner, an omission explanation to be signed.
