Each player represents a Imperator, which begins its career on an isolated planet. Newer Browserspiele advances production in real time, it gives there no report, which the player must call up if necessary.

SOL does not know RESETs, which are Soliversum since its beginning persistent contrary to other on-line plays.
At the beginning of the play the beginning Imperator gets a planet, which it can remove according to its desires. As soon as the economy of the planet certain requirements is sufficient, the Imperium a stage (level) ascends and it is available new and better buildings. Starting from level 5 spaceships can be built, in order to fly to other planets and to create or act with the there inhabitants a colony there or lead war.
