With Freecycle (TM) one marks a new kind of giving away articles by a Internet-based network. Functional ones, but no more used things are to be supplied again to a meaningful use. Over local groups of Internet meet prospective customers and give away articles or search purposefully after things, which have to give away others.

The giving away network "“Freecycle"” was an idea of the American Deron Beal, in order to reduce and to the abundance company somewhat oppose garbage. Since 2003 Freecycle is strongly grown and reached in the meantime in 50 countries over 2.000 local Freecycle groups also together over two million members (conditions April 2006). Those about 70 groups in Germany were created by Thomas Pradel (Frankfurt A.M.) since March 2004.
