Forschungsportal.Net is a search machine for the scientific range of the www. The search machine was developed - like also the Metasuchmaschine Metager - of the University of Hanover on behalf Federal Ministry for education and research (BMBF) with a promotion of 600.000 euro, and presented in September 2002 of the public. With the search universities, the Fraunhofer Society excluding web pages of nationally promoted science organizations and research institutes as for instance from universities, which Max-Planck company considers etc. or also the German library (thesis search, become). The search results are listed under the respective institutions (Clustering). Forschungsportal.Net scans 27,000 Web servers with 12 million web pages.
