Exalead D] is an Internet search machine with seat in Paris (France). The company existed since 2000 and since October 2004 is the search machine of the same name on-line. The index of the search machine enclosure for the moment (March 2006) approx. 4 billion sides and is to be supplemented shortly on 8 billion.

The search machine differs in various regard from well-known search machines such as Google or Yahoo. She scans not only Internet sides and spread document types such as pdf or DOC but also films, music and other Multimediadateien.

For the moment work about 40 people in three different countries at Exalead (France in Paris, Italy in Milan and the USA in New York and San Francisco)
