Erikativ is a pseudoscientific Neologismus for the designation of a special category of text Emoticons as for example *schulterzuck*, *knuddel*, *dich completely doll dear hab*. The Erikativ be based grammatically on the Inflektiv, is used however as Interjektion and permitted also compound words. Specializedlinguistically the designation Erikativ is uncommon. Sometimes the Erikativ is called Inflektiv, besides the designation descriptive exists.

Contrary to conventional Interjektionen as "“oh"” or "“tja"” the Erikativ does not express feeling by a sound, and contrary to the sound painting the Erikativ also normally describes no noise.
