The electronic magazine library (EZB) is the most comprehensive freely listing of electronic magazines, a cooperative service from at present 348Bibliotheken, accessible in the Internet, '' with the goal of offering to its users a simple and comfortable entrance '' appearing too electronic scientific magazines. All electronic magazines are led, which permit access to the full text. The accesibility is represented with traffic light symbols. Generally accessible magazines are green. Yellow locally in each case licensed magazines are red local, not available magazines.

The EZB prove substantially more "“free"” magazines than the directory OF open ACCESS journal in Lund, which also is because of it that the photograph criteria for the directory are stricter OF open ACCESS journal than the criteria of the EZB, after which a journal as "“freely"” to be arranged is.

A further proof instrument, both for electronic and gedrucke magazines, is the magazine data base operated from the state library to Berlin. In the future a stronger co-operation of the EZB and the magazine data base is planned.
