El Goonish Shive is a English-language Webcomic of Dan Shive (begun on 21 January 2002) over a group of dte rodents in the fictitious US city Moperville, whose life became quite adventurous lately by Transformationsphaser, parallel university verses and emerging a half squirrel Formwandlerin on the escape before their "“family"”.

Over the Comic

El Goonish Shive is Dans of first Webcomic, which explains some the peculiarities. While it has a name for nearly each individual Strip ready, it found no title, which convinced it, and signed finally with "“El Goonish Shive"”, about "“the schurkische Shive"”. On the other hand there is no character in the main action, which Dan represents directly; its characteristics are distributed on several main persons (Sarah for example draws Comics).

An oldest component of EGS is the Moperville North High School. There Dans school newspaper Comic "“matte and advice"” played. Later it invented Elliot, Tedd and Sarah, which were at the beginning relatively normal young people. When it decided to bring EGS out as Webcomic it invented Shade Tail, which before its form transducer family had fled, in order the Comic to make more exciting. Since then tries Dan, a healthy balance between character development to hold tension and humor.

The Webcomic is divided into three sections: In the section EGS is the main action divided into chapters, whereby there is no firm status Quo; the persons and their relations change to each other in the course of history. In addition, there are short, usually independent stories in the section EGS: NP (new PAPER: Newspaper STR IP format) and often colored designs in the section Filler, if times a date were missed.

Dates are usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday for the main action and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for EGS: NP.

Characters

There is a quantity durable characters in EGS, in the center stands however eight young people (all about 17), who visit nearly everything the next to last class at one of the two High Schools in Moperville.

Main persons

Elliot - has the black belt of the local combat art school. After a childhood, in which he up-brew-send each train attacked, it tends now usually to the caution.

Tedd - a talent is fascinated to bring itself particularly by his loose mouth work in difficulties by technology and has. By the mockery of its schoolmates Tedd already isolated itself during its childhood from the world, and for many years Elliot was its only friend.

Sarah - is the most normal one of all, and rather artistically orients. It is friendly since their childhood with Elliot, and even if sometimes it does not have special forces, it surprises with hidden talents.

Grace - also Shade Tail mentioned - stands a daily before Tedds door and expects from it technical means against its family of Formwandlern trained to assassins.

Nanase - has likewise the black belt and additionally still magic abilities. (Magic in EGS consists of trainable useful abilities, but not spells to each opportunity)

Justin - trained likewise, however not as far progressed as Nanase or Elliot. Besides it jobbt in a Comic and a collecting map business.

Susan - is easily attractionable and generally critical opposite boys and men, is however fast ready to jump over their shade if their assistance is used.

Inches - Elliots twin sister dips very unexpectedly for all during the "“Sister"” - of action elbow up.

A very detailed description is in the English version of this side; one should consider however whether one wants to be able to be surprised when reading the action, because one already experiences a quantity there during the reading of the descriptions of character.

Mr. Verres - Tedds alone-educating father works for the government.

Greg - Sensei of the combat art school.

Director moves - constantly tries to hold the youth today on the right way; the result of its efforts are usually murals as "“READ or the owl eat you!"”

Guinea, Hedge and Vlad - Grace's older "“brothers"”.

Nioi - originates from the "“alpha dimension"” and knows the there Tedd, which calls itself lord Tedd. It seems helpful, however only few of itself or its homeland dimension told.

The first Comic book "“READ Or The Owl wants Eat You"” with Keenspot appeared. The second Comic book "“The Piece That Does emergency fit one"” appears in December.
