By E-Entrepreneurship the creation of an independent and original legal restaurant unit (E-venture) in the Net Economy is understood, within which the independent (n) founder person (EN) with a specific on-line offer (product and/or service) would like to cover a strange need (n).

Characteristics

Can be identified, also as points of distinction for establishment situation in that material Economy, four central of characteristics for an establishment of an enterprise in the Net Economy:

  • Type of establishment: An establishment within this range is usually an independent, original and innovative establishment of an enterprise within the Net Economy.
  • Establishment surrounding field: The establishment is coined/shaped by an enormous growth potential with simultaneous uncertainty over the future development regarding the actual success of capital-intensive information technologies.
  • Establishment purchase: The establishment is based on a business idea, which is only made possible by the use of innovative information technologies and which for the special meaning of the competition factor information carries within the network economics calculation.
  • Establishment basis: The enterprise concept is based esp. on an electronic creation of value for the customer, who is offered to a constant advancement and/or support over an electronic platform of the Net Economy and requires.

A character

In the center of an enterprise in the E-Entrepreneurship the electronic value chain is located: The electronic value chain arranges an enterprise of the Net Economy (E-venture) into strategically relevant activities, in order to understand thereby cost behavior as well as existing and potenzielle sources of differentiation. The electronic value chain represents appropriate value activities, which refer for example to the collection, systematization and distribution of information.

Over these specific value activities within digital data networks then an electronic information product results, for whose value the customer is ready over the associated creation of value to pay. The electronic value chain shows thus the total value, which consists of individual electronic value activities and profit margin. Within the value chain now in particular the value activities are identified, which exhibit a special relevance for the creation of value. From the new dimension of information as independent source of competition advantages independently electronic creation of value activities in digital data networks can result of the physical value chain. These electronic creation of value activities are comparable however not with the physical value activities, but lie in special handling information. The appropriate value activities can lie for example in the collection, systematization, selection, joining and distribution of information. By these specific creation of value activities within digital data networks a "“electronic value chain"” manifests itself, whose origin and effect are to be found alone in the Net Economy. In the result innovative business ideas, which create a "“electronic product"” over the use of the different platforms, result for whose value the customer to pay are ready on basis of this new creation of value level. This product can be then according to also the basis an establishment of an enterprise in the Net Economy. Whereby the characteristic of these E-ventures lies in the fact that the value of this product (electronic creation of value) can be developed and driven out by means of electronic media only.
