The E-Mail server Cyrus is an open SOURCE project of the Carnegie Mellon University. Originally the server software for the Campus Mail system of the university was developed, meanwhile is it however recognized and also Mail Delivery agent used in the professional range. He supported to time minutes IMAP and POP3 and co-operates with various smtp servers under Linux/Unix. Cyrus supports several coding techniques which are based on SASL: CRAM-MD5, digestmd5, gssapi, otp, plain, pam.
