CMSimple is a content management system, which by the Dane Peter Harteg is developed. It corresponds to the concept of the developer, a "“people CMS"” to create: simple, smart and small. CMSimple covers 2.5 only 69 KB in the current version. These advantages have the magazine Internet Professional induced to provide CMSimple in July 2004 with the "“recommendation of the editorship"”.

CMSimple was written in PHP4. A data base is not necessary, which extends the application type again. In the meantime hundreds of Templates (layout) were developed to CMSimple and often freely available. The Danish CMS Tool is present in the meantime in numerous languages. CMSimple is driven out under the AGPL license, besides there is a commercial selling way (licenses, Reseller system etc.). The use is free, as long as for example a visible remains left on the Website of the manufacturer on the Website. A similar regulation to the linking applies with the offerers of Templates.
