The Internet side Cinefacts came out in April 2005 (25 April 2005) from the two Internet sides DVD Inside and Movie Inside. The reason was appropriate for US chip manufacturer Intel in an argument with that.

DVD Inside was opened on 5 December 1998, briefly after the introduction on the market of the DVD in Germany and/or Europe, and put its emphasis on information about new publications on DVD. In addition among other things daily messages, count DVD reviews, a preview on coming DVD novelties as well as a DVD data base.

Movie Inside was added some years later and supplemented daily messages over motion picture films, film criticisms, cinema starting dates as well as likewise a film data base. All cinema information is used automatically also for the DVD publications. Apart from the cinema range and DVD range Cinefacts has a price comparison and a large German Entertainment Community.

The Community of Cinefacts ranks among the largest in the German-language Web. The possible topic spectrum covers thereby all aspects, also technical, from film and DVD.
