The ZVAB or central listing of Antiquari books is an Internet market place for German-language antiquarische books.

The market place

The establishment of the market place was owed the fact that the search for antiquarischen books is often unsuccessful in quite laboriously and with rare titles. By the spreading of the Internet the opportunity was offered to bundle and so similarly to the listing of available books (VLB) a central listing of Antiquari books form the offer of many second-hand bookshops on an on-line market place. In the meantime the ZVAB developed to the world-wide largest offerer of this kind for German-language antiquarische books, beside which also numerous fremdsprachige titles are. Firm history

Center listing of Antiquari books was brought 1996 by Bernd Heinisch as well as peace man Kutschbach and Jens the Bauersachs in Berlin into being. Since 1999 the ZVAB belongs to mediantis the AG. The fusion with Choosebooks, the American counterpart of the ZVAB, in the year 2004 extended the offer by millions mainly English-language title. In the year 2006 the company headquarters was shifted from Berlin to Tutzing.
