A Buchwippe is a device, in order to facilitate a filming, digitization or a copying of bound collecting mains such as books or bound magazines. It consists of two independently elements adjustable in the height, in such a way on which that is located volume (with or the digitizing side which can be filmed upward) that the sides lie as flat as possible. With some Buchwippen that is pressed volume in addition against a glass plate. Buchwippen can be moved depending upon building method manually or with the help of an electric motor. The admission takes place with a microfilm camera or a supervision scanner. Scrolling after admission happens usually by hand, it exists however also devices at automatic (in the employment e.g. with the digitization component of Google Book search).
