BitComet is written a Bittorrent Client for Windows, in C++.

Its functions are simultaneous Downloads, Download queue, selecting individual files within a Torrentdatei, resumption of stopped and pausierten Downloads, Chatten, speed limitation, haven Mapping, Proxy, IP addresses filtering, etc. In addition BitComet supports trackerless Torrents, which is compatible with the Classic Client. In contrast for this stands Azureus, which develops its own incompatible procedure for this.

Users should for safety reasons (source: heise.de) only version 0.61 or more highly use. This version bring along the advantage for the BitTorrent net also that data of private Torrents are not decentralized distributed any longer - granting privilege of BitComet users takes place however further, the Client is not yet completely BitTorrent conformal.
