The Bibliotheca Augustana is in former times active a digital library of E-texts of the world literature in different languages, those from Ulrich Harsch, as professor for communication Design and electronic publishing in the specialist area organization of the professional school Augsburg, since 1997 are made available as private project on their Web server.
The litteraturae et artis collectio with Latin prompting on the main side covers texts in the languages: Latin, Greek, German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Russian and Jiddisch. A museum virtuale contains illustrations of works of art particularly from before-historical time.
Against the much-praised and also collection of texts highly outstanding due to their elegant organization by Harsch it is in-turned critically that the actually used text basis of the E-text is often not indicated and the texts is therefore not quotable (so Thomas's leg, in: Mediaevistik and new media, Ostfildern 2004, P. 35, ISBN 3-7995-0321-8).
Dieter E. rooms writes into the TIME on-line:
"Selecting latin, Greek, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Russian and jiddische texts, exquisit graphically completely dargeboten from Microsoft Hasser Ulrich Harsch, former professor for communication Design and electronic publishing at the professional school Augsburg" The joke of these bibliotheca consists of it that they and also their narrow explaining framework come along completely in latin, included good pieces of advice like cave Gatem et Exploratorem! Who cavet less Billem Gatem than the Internet Anthologist of this Site, does not have by the way less of it. The texts look so beautiful in Harschs presentation that one thinks nearly, the screen could the printed book the water abgraben perhaps nevertheless."
