Battlecom is a real time language connecting software la Voice of over IP or team peak).

This is inserted mostly by computer players into on-line Multiplayerspielen (main Ego Shootern such as Tactical Ops or Counterstrike), in order to make play-independent communication possible between the players of a team and to provide advantages in such a way (transmission of the position of opposing players, etc.).

Meanwhile this Tool is however still used hardly, which is surely mainly because of the fact that it is not developed further and thus with other Tools - like Ventrilo or team peak - any longer keep up cannot.
