Azureus is a Filesharing Client for BitTorrent minutes, to which the GNU general Public License is subject. The name is inspired by the poisonous blue kind of frog Dendrobates azureus, which places also the Logo.

Azureus was published in June 2003 on Sourceforge.net. It is written and supported in Java therefore Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS X and all other platforms, for which Java is available.
