ATnet was a Austrian Internet Provider. ATnet was created 1994 in the context of the action "“scientist to base companies"” by Dr. Franz Penz and set since then milestones in the Austrian ISP landscape.

Apart from the first successful use of HDSL technology for Internet tying up, the structure ATnet with its development orientation ranked first commercial DATA center as well as an attaining of the status of the first Austrian 6Bone-pTLA and the first user binding over Teilnehmeranschlussleitungen (TASL) among the innovation leaders at the domestic broadband sector.

ATnet was bought up on 1 February 2005 and integrated into the Austrian company EUnet.
