The Anarchopedia is an open knowledge portal for Anarchisten, which is based on a Wiki software. After the self understanding of its founders the emphasis lies in a well-meaning treatment of the topics Anarchismus and fight for liberty generally. For this purpose FAQs and articles over anarchy and Anarchismus are collected there and written.

The Anarchopedia took up the work on 30 September 2004 and at present existed to 22 languages (conditions: 17. May 2006); the German-language expenditure has its own Subdomain since 5 December 2004. The decentralization of the server over different Mirror is in planning. The of the Anarchopedia is in the server networks of freenode.org and indymedia.org.

In contrast to most other Wikis the Anarchopedia does not have a selected group of administrators. Each user receives this status with a registration.
