Technology

Network-technically seen aMule and eMule are identically constructed (eMule technology).

The program code differs however partly substantially. aMule develops for example on the free library WxWidgets. The moreover one aMule substantially modular is developed, otherwise the separation from core and GUI would not be possible in this form.

Current data

The aMule Entwicklerteam co-operates closely with of eMule and tries important eMule innovations to portieren. For example the eMule extensions were portiert such as AICH and Secure Hash already and are supported since version 2.1.0 also before only the Kad network formed by eMule Clients.

In addition, at the same time many own plans and ideas are converted and/or developed, as for example the separation from core and GUI, EC-minutes or itself in the development the PHP Webinterface present, with it without large expenditure possible are its own Web interface to be created.
